How available will these be, say, in two weeks? I have bills to pay and can't lay out the money until then.

Neat! It sounds like it's only a matter of time now. Heh, funny thing is I still haven't gotten my hands on a Superion set.   I obviously didn't plan very well for this.

Alright if I find the Superion box set I'm getting it (no luck so far due to work)

 

I find it a lot easier to pose by connecting the legs sideways and fiddling with the feet.

 

the set is cool and all but i cant justify the price.

Does this upgrade make him bigger? Because I think these Energon combiners (and repaints) are to small compared to other figures (for instance classics of movie figures).

I hope they will make an upgrade for classics Devastator as well. Adding feet (or more upper-legs in between the leg figures and center figure) to increase his length, adding normal hands.
Maybe increasing his upper body as well by adding a torso section with a G1-style head, chest plate and new shoulders (so his arms can be attached higher).
I would like him to be bigger to better fit with the classics and Energon Omega Supreme. Right now Energon Omega dwarfs classics Devastator.

Or how about a modification to make a Superion using Universe classics Silverbolt?
Probably would require bigger (deluxe sized) limbs. Like ROTF Breakaway.

 

I just opened my Target Superion set and assembled him the way he is supposed to originally look out of the box. This figure without customization/appendages absolutely looks like monkey crap. LOL

Waiting for the appendage kit to arrive is now torture.

 

Anybody get theirs yet?

and this weekend was a July 4 weekend

I'd expect retailers to get them this week and get to reshipping them to customers by Friday.
