After trying several times to get it to go through at the RC website (kept declining like everyone else), paypal worked right away.

    Email and confirmation sent.

He'll be a great stand-in for Fracas until FP makes a Fracas. :D

huh, couldn't find a receipt for my previous donation...so I just made another one!

Really even if some of us don't get Blesser, what an AMAZING idea to get people to donate, you KNOWFansprojects gonna take a small bit of a loss on this one.

This. I did the same. Regardless, it was worth it even if I'm donor 1501. I had watched footage from MSNBC, and I can't imagine anyone going through the horror. It makes me even more aware of what Katrina victims as well as others in India went through.

    Edit: Received email from Fansproject.

Thanks for the tip, paypal sent.

As for the question if I would have donated without this happening, I HAVE been feeling guilty for not donating. This gladly put me over the edge and made me do it.

If it turns out I don't get one of the 1500, I'll still be happy and glad I gave.

Considering the people out there (and they ARE out there) that will try to make multiple donations and scalp it on Ebay later, it wouldn't surprise me if they're close to that number already.

Done and Done, even if I'm too late it's still for a good cause.

On the bright side, if they have it means they've already raised $22500 minimum!

I would hope they'd only allow one per address, that might eliminate all but the most dedicated assholes.
The only place I wouldnt mind seeing a few of these for sale would be at something like Botcon in a charity auction with the proceeds donated to the relief effort.

Don't know, I won't cheer until I get a reply back. Still a good cause, free target master or not.

Done. I have special ties to Japan and have done 10 tours there, all starting in Tokyo. It makes me sad as some of the places/landmarks Ive been to now have damage. Hope this helps.

Thinking about it, I actually hope that FP doesn't announce that its over until later tonight or later today. That way they will continue to get donations AFTER the 1,500 mark has been reached. I mean, it IS for a good cause right? ;)

Lol yeah but if you think fans whine when they put flames on Prime, imagine what will happen when their good deed isn't rewarded lol.

FP's terrific for doing this!! Donation...MADE!

As far as the question of whether I would've donated: YES. I was going to this weekend, this incentive just made me put it thru sooner (on work time lol).

Japan is a beautiful country (I travelled there in 2005), and home to absolutely the nicest people I've ever met in my life, bar none.
