But everyone please do note another less than mature posting by Mr. Murphy:

Ooo how I'd like to be a fly on the wall of that set :D

Well Don did ask firmly last Sunday that people stop posting remarks like JesterZZ did.And did ask for the needless negative posts to stop as whole.

And also it's Don,you should be used to it by now as this isn't a first time occurance

I don't see what Don's reply has to do with anything.

Neospark1 doesn't feel that Don's acting professional. He feels that Don should be more respectful in his posts since he's part producer of the movie.

Oh, so that means Megatron's gonna be a Power Rangers knockoff superbaddie? If so, count me out of seeing this movie. One more thing:

    Exploding parts transformation sucks.

And he's right. Do you think Bay would be caught dead making those comments? Spielberg? No, because (no matter what I think of the quality of their films) they're both professionals. Murphy doesn't (and hasn't) had a clue what that word means from the get go. Still, he should really respect the man's wishes and stop posting needlessly negative comments as we all know what this guy's like at this point. On the other hand, Murphy needs to practice what he's preaching...

As far as the movie news and the fans visiting the set. I agree. Would have loved to be a fly on the wall. Still not to sure about Bay's "realism" concept, but I'll reserve judgement until I've seen the movie... with the exception of saying that Megatron still looks like utter crap... as Megatron... as Guyvertron he's nice. :lol

These guys seem to write whatever Bay and Paramount tell them. Of course, that's probably why they get invited to the set.

I keep reading about how it will "stay true" to the original Transformers from 25 years ago. Why is it then that Bay and Murphy keep saying its not our G1? Sigh..

Well, it's not like they're real journalists.

Funny, I haven't read anything anywhere that has to do one way or another with G1. That's just fan interjection. Saying that they're going to "stay true" to TFs means a whole hell of alot more than G1... heck, he could say "we're staying true to the concept of transformers" and than go and make a Beast Machines movie and it'd still be exactly what he was saying. Just not the way alot of us would want.

Personally, I think we really need to start looking past the whole "it is or isn't G1 thing", because there's more to it now than that.

Hmm... maybe all the Hasbro COO talk of Megtron "evolving" throughout the movie means tha he'll turn into Legion later... complete with wangtongue? ...eww...

Ahh who cares? Its a movie. Let's watch it, buy the toys and have fun.

Even if the concept designs are not to my taste, its not going to somehow destroy my enjoyment of all things TF.

Spielberg and Bay also don't post on forums and talk to fans actually, Don's trying hard to juggle the role of producer and fan, I think we should cut him some slack, after all if you were in his position, working hard to see something come true, fighting to add as many fanwank in something which he doesn't have complete control in, and some dude on-line just start bashing it without seeing the final product, it can get to anyone. Was it right that he lashed out a bit? probably not, but I understand.

I agree whole heartily, TF has gone through so many renditions, some we love and some we loathed, and this Movie will be no different, but the important thing is, TF lives on!

    EDIT: WOO HOO 1000th post!

I agree. The movie and it's toyline, to me so far will be like Binaltech or KISSplay: one I'm planning on skipping. It's really not shaping up to be my particular brand of vodka, but that doesn't stop me from being excited for Classics, Titaniums, Cybertron etc. Nor do I want to piss in the Cheerios of the fans that like the movie designs or the human-heavy script. They are taking a chance with the designs and I haven't yet seen one that's a must have for me. I don't collect McFarlane-esque figurines. I don't read Fangoria. And I don't collect Iron Maiden posters.
