Have FH given any hint/clue they might do a variant / retool into Ginrai from their PMP?

 

What kind of retooling would you want to see? Super Ginrai and PMP are pretty similar.

Edit: I know there are some paint differences, but retool wise it's mostly stuff like the hands, which this toy won't really replicate either way.

Those prototype shots look great! It's much less round and soft than the renders made it out to be  

 

I know fan's hobby is leaning more towards the chunkier PMOP, but this guy would look great in the fire guts deco.

 

Looks fat. I like the Maketoys one better different scale and all.

 

Its glorious. I love how the cab bot even has the entire front of the truck as his back section, just like the show!
I hope the colors are good on the final product, this sure has my eyes caught. he'd look glorious next to Star Saber.

 

Ahhhhh crap. I really, really wanted to pass on this thing but it's looking more and more like I can't. The cab is MP-10 sized in bot mode? They're doing something about the big ugly blocks behind his head that ruin his silhouette? And I already have MP Headmasters, Victory Saber, and a Targetmaster on the way... thus justifying going further into Japanese G1?

God help my wallet. I may end up having to pick up a SoundBlaster and Twincast too and I'd already managed to avoid those repaints for so long. Fortunately TFC's LioKaiser kind of sucks so no pressure there. But still... gah. Okay, fuck it. I'm buying this.

(I managed to avoid Fans Hobby's Nemesis Prime thus far too, but mainly only because it came to light it will be reissued with improvements... so I can either decide whether to get the improved version later, or I will have a chance to snag an OG version at a discounted price. Win-win.)

I don't mind that it looks chunkier than the show, and I also hope he comes with a Marvel-style head as well. He looks more like comic PMOP anyway.

Just need to see him scaled next to mp victory saber

 

He'll be much bigger than Victory Saber and or Star Saber.
