I don't think it's an issue with the slots in the hand, but moreso an issue with the sword.

I could have had the same issue. Both guns slide in smoothly without any issue, but on my copy the sword absolutely refuses to slide in. Tried it once and felt too much resistance to continue. Looking at the sword closely (magnifying glass) I discovered that the moulding on the sword hilt was wrong. Could be just my copy, but much as I love to have him hold the sword, I will never use the intended slot.

The guns on my copy also slide in to the left hand pretty well, but it's also caused some stress marks on the hand, but not nearly as bad as the sword.

I think FH should just provide a new set
of hands and sword together with the trailer that is coming out or maybe also with the next release (after power baser) as some might not get the trailer.

So I just got this guy in today and I really love him over all. I have a few little nit picks, most of which aren't worth mentioning, but there is one that I'll bring up. The way the sword slides into his hands does not feel good at all. I feel like there isn't enough room between his thumb and palm to slide things in without putting stress on that track in his hand. Or his thumb actually, now that I'm looking at it.

And that complaint leads me to the following questions. Are there a set of hands that fit him? Even though he's a bit bulkier, I feel like his hands aren't much bigger than MP-10. So maybe there's a suitable set out there that'd work.

Alternatively, did someone make a sword for some other figure of similar style and size?

The sword/hand seems to be a common issue. I'm unable to insert the sword into the groove because of either the mould on the sword or the hand being wrong. So be careful when inserting it or risk maiming the slot in the hand.

(I just have him hold the sword without the slot by rotating the hilt 180, and he holds it fine like that)

I'm not sure why it didn't occur to me to just have him hold the sword without using the slot. The hands are tight enough that tension should be totally sufficient. Well that's a much simpler solution to the problem than I was envisioning, so thanks for that.

Got mine yesterday and have to say I'm impressed bar a couple of niggles

I really hate the face (put me off the figure for the longest time and look forward to replacing it when the Trailer comes out)

The Matrix also just falls out if the doors arren'tclosed. Is this common?

Being purely lazy here so I apologize. But did anyone ever do comparison pictures with the original G2 Laser Prime?

I just opened my trailers, and they're really completing the look. I am so conflicted about the decals. I want to use the Geoff Senior art but not the gunfighter printed word pieces, and I want to use the Toyhax printed word sections but not the art. I wish someone here would photoshop these two decal designs into one and print them off. The art of the toyhax options just isn't as good.

Also does anyone know how to get ahold of Toyhax and get replacement parts? I had the small gas tank piece break on mine and while its not majorly important or even noticeable I'd like to fix it.

I ordered this directly from fans hobby store last week and still no update on the status of my order. Damn!! $18 for express shipping my ass. This reminds me of why I don’t shop at tfsource. Takes forever just to box your shit up and slap a label on it. Guess for $97 shipped I can be patient. All this Optimus talk lately has me needing this MEOW
