I had a quick question about posting fanfiction-

So I'm writing a long storyline that will is part of my current fanfic. However, this long storyline can also be a stand-alone story, so I was wondering if it would be against board rules if I posted the long storyline in a separate thread from my current fanfic, but still mentioned that the two stories were tied together.

Nah, that's cool. If it's significantly a different story, then by all means post a new thread. If you feel that it doesn't have enough weight to stand on its own, simply include it within a thread you have already started.

If you choose option A, certainly link your readers to both threads
