Looks like I'm getting a voyager classics astro-train...gonna put him right next to blitzwing with his dr wu head, awesome g1 news. I need me an updated bigger size g1 astro train. This is going to be so awesome that it's price will not matter. Although if they could get it at or under $100 that'd be great.

 

I was commenting on this toy, not G1. They're hard to spot but he does have the "traditional" nozzles from the cab---which on this toy makes little sense.

 

they should have made him look like the Back to the Future time traveling choochoo
included with a Dr. Archville repainted as Doc Brown.

 

If Astrotrain had more style he would have been more streamlined.



Would make for an easier toy design too…

 

Also wondering why this is classics scale but ostensibly MP style. Makes no sense to display a G1 cartoon styled astrotrain that's voyager sized next to generations blitzwing that is not G1 cartoon accurate. Along with 100% of all the other CHUG decepticons

 

They might have a fix for that planned…  

 

Quite intrigued - I've wanted triple-changers done well for a LONG time and this looks like it could deliver.

 

Then I guess he wouldn't be Astrotrain.

IMO this should've probably been a little bigger to properly fit amongst MP styled figures cause it surely doesn't seem to fit the classics its sized up with...

 

I,m down for this Astrotrain imo he should be bigger than the other triple changers I,m thinking this will scale nicely in a classic,s collection.

 

They could just make him HO or O scale, them there'd be millions of pieces of track ready-made at hobby stores.

O scale would ginormous, but HO would be kinda a small voyager I'd guess. (Not familiar enough with Japanese steamers to mentally guesstimate well)

 

or even make him fit on a standard track  

 

I want to see a pic of the ion displacer rifle a.k.a. BIG F'N GUN!

Hoping we get some more news on this, I'd love to get a Voyager Astrotrain that turns into a classic Steam Engine.

 

i really like this and i hope they stick wiht the first image designs, we need a bigger astrotrain for sure.....and tankor
