Boooooooo, it was just the movie split up into 3 episodes and editted to fit a 90 minute time slot with commericals. :(

Yeah, I saw that. What an odd thing to pull.

At least they didn't leave the last part for next season. That would have been incredibly stupid.

Didn't even pay attention to it when I saw that it was the movie split up. What'll really be lame is if they include the movie in this season's DVD set. That would be a nice FU to fans who actually went out and bought it when it was released.

I kept meaning to rent it, but there was never any copy at the video store when I was there.

Guess I saved on that then. It was a surprised (I'd seen some clips) when I realized it was the movie, and wondered how many people would feel cheated. Those that bought it/rented the movie, and those who wanted something new as well.

    That's EXACTLY what I thought.
If it's just released on the Season DVD set, I'm gonna feel that I just flushed 14 bones down the toilet.

It was anounced, like, when the DVD came out that they were going to air it later in the season. Now, there was no mention of them passing it off as the season finale, but still...

It was almost as bad as the rest of this shitty shitty season. I refuse to believe it's the same writers working on the scripting and jokes.

That's my take on it. I fully expected them to show it on tv, but not as a finale. In fact I kinda thought they use it when the show would've otherwise been in re-runs.

I thought the film was originally written as a 3 parter that then they decided to make it a 30 minute film and whack it out on dvd.

Kinda gay to have the movie be the season finale. But they did add a few new parts to it (the third of the three episodes had a parody of the 24 opening).

Good thing I already have the movie on my computer, before the movie actually came out on DVD.

It was indeed written as a three parter then edited into the film.

Yeah, I thought that was kinda cheap to use that as the season finale.

The movie being shown on TV isn't news... I don't get why it's bad that it was the "season finale"(what does it matter what order episodes are aired in?, wouldn't it have been a bigger "FU to fans" if they aired the movie eps sooner... ie: not long after the DVD was released?)

I didn't watch it on TV, but from the DVD & commentary they say there's quite a bit of movie material that isn't a part of the TV episodes. The movie is what, about 90 minutes? 3 episodes x 22 minutes is only 66 minutes.

The entire time, I was sitting there thinking "I know I have seen this before. It's not new. But when?" Then I remembered in the middle of the day today that it was the movie.

They said they were going to do this when the DVD was first released.
