Teaser trailer up, release currently set for Fall 2010. Fallout New Vegas | IshTalkers It's being developed by Obsidian.
Want to hear more, but this looks like it might be the first title in 2010 that I'm actually getting excited for.
I seriously cannot wait for this game. If it's half as awesome as Fallout 3, we're in for a great game. Need. More. Info. Now.
Anyone else notice how the trailer looks like the intro to Fallout 3? We get a shot of the TV screen in the beginning, and then it pans outward and so on and so forth, revealing the setting of the game, and it ends with an armored person looking at the camera. Just my .
Gotta agree, Fallout 3 was so good that if this is a fraction of the quality then it's a buy. 2010 is really shaping up to be a great gaming year.
Completely agree. 200+ hours into Fallout 3 and I still don't think I've seen everything (thats across 2 playthroughs getting to level 20 on both with no DLC).
Didn't Elvis come a little late for the timeframe? I guess it doesn't matter as it's an alternate history anyway.
I heard you can get married to a Ghoul and the priest is an Elvis impersonator...Don't quote me on that, but it would be awesome.
Who knows if Elvis was even alive in this timeline. This game follows an alternate reality that seems to have deviated from ours around what....the 30's or 40's?
obsidian is made up of some of the people who made the original fallouts for interplay and were making their version of fallout 3 (or van buren) in 2003 when interplay canned the pc developers at black isle studios so this should be interesting as the setting of new vegas is near the same as van buren so i wonder if they'll carry over some of the van buren storyline into the new story line also wich would be better traditional isometric gameplay like the first two fallouts and the D&D games up to never winter nights or a first person shooter system like fallout 3 and elder scrolls or some hybrid mix
Besides adding vehicles I'm guessing the gameplay will be similar. Fallout 3's gameplay was great, but what made the game one of my favorites was a mix of the atmosphere combined with nice rewards for exploring by either setting up various side missions or hiding away a stat boosting book. I just hope they make reaching the level cap a little harder this time.
