    Ebay:
i bought a copy of fallout 2 from Gog last month for my mother- she likes that style of RPGs- to put on her laptop to play between her routes and on road trips.
it installed and runs okay on my desktop PC (a win 7 OS) but testing it out on my laptop (a Vista OS just like hers) i get all kinds of crashes.
the opening cinematics start, i try to skip them and it crashes and my laptop automatically reboots.

right before the reboot, i get a blue Dos-like screen with a Bad Spooler Error message.

I emailed Gog and never got a reply and all that i can find via Google searches are crashes well into the game.
i can't even get to the Menu screen.

I have also adjusted the compatibility modes with no luck.

This was supposed to be one of her Christmas presents, but i am already 2 weeks late. any suggestions would help a lot.

incompatible graphics card? That's the only thing I can think of. Try updating the drivers?
