    Howdy all.

So I went window shopping and saw my local Kohls (it's mostly a clothing store with a surprisingly good Transformers selection. Found Jazz and Tracks there before anywhere else.) had a sale of buy one get one half off.

The only things they had though that even remotely tempted me was Fallback and Mindset. I passed on them though because I really dislike the movie look and I didn't want to spend money on something I didn't really care for.

That said, Fallback looked like he could fit in well with my Generations/Reveal the Shield stuff.

So my question is, do you guys think these two would fit in well with a collection of the Generations/Reveal the Shield? My Autobots are outnumbered so I want to get some more but I can't find Kup or Perceptor in stores yet...

I vastly prefer the Brawn deco over Fallback. Mindset was interesting, but I quickly became bored with him. I'm selling mine for $6.

I don't really think either fits in perfectly with a Classics collection...but neither screams the movie aesthetic to me as much as, say, the Mindwipe mold for me. I do still like and enjoy both though.

I like Mindset's mold, but I prefer Hailstorm's deco, if that's available to you. If Mindset is the only option, well the mold itself is kinda neat. It's quirky and unconventional, with a tough look to it.

Fallback is really cool. I definitely recommend him regardless of color.

Mindset and Fallback are really cool!! Although I do prefer the ROTF Brawn but the figure is just a great figure. Like LBSammills51 stated, they don't scream movie nor classics, they're just right in between...

They're good figures, but they don't fit classicsverse in the slightest.

I don't have a clue on what people are saying with Movie toys fitting in Classics. Seaspray and Bludgeon don't fit and neither does Fallback and Mindset. The Fallback mold is very good, but the colours are meh. I'm not a fan of the Mindset mold though, and the head looks horrible.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with Fallback, I think he fits in ok with the rest of my Classics/Generations figures, he doesn't have that movie look so that is a plus with me.

They don't look like Insects or anything like that so like Longarm they can pass for Classics more or less.

Mindset's arms are a bit weird but he's a terrific little vehicle so if you like the vehicle modes you might like him.

Brawn/Fallback are a good mould too - aside from the possible floppy hips you might get. some might not like the kibble wings I suppose But I like the mould fine personally.

Personal preference and opinion are not absolutes. Some people don't mind a more varied collection.

Mindset is going into my G2-Redux setup as soon as I get some faction symbols from Reprolabels.
