If you added the Nightstick Targetmaster, this would look very G1/CHUG accurate.

not the best Jazz, but not the worst. He's kinda fun to muck around with, but damn, his factory paint apps...
    Thanx man. XD

    Thanx man. ;)

    Heh, thanx. XD
Love what you did on your FoC Jazz. Simple, nice, clean, and hell pretty. X3
and I can't wait to see your Stepper. ;D

I want to?... but I don't have a Nightstick, sadly... may go hunting for him at some point...

Keep an eye out for some of those Arms Micron capsule figures. You can get a fully-poseable ready-to-paint Targetmaster for like $8 or so. :)

Wow! This works so much better as Stepper than Jazz!

Nice paint job. Liking this figure as Stepper a lot better than as Jazz.

Great work man. That totally sells the FoC Jazz mold as a worthwhile purchase. I have no need for a second/substandard Jazz, but I don't have a Stepper and I can't wait to try and replicate this custom!

He's set up for the Targetmaster too - with the roof's weapon port.

    Cool.

How's the rubbing issues with this mold? You implied it's got a lot of scrape points. I've got a project in mind for this guy and was hoping he'd be kitbash-friendly...

    Thanx. :)

hmmm. scrape points would mainly be at the arm tabs where they peg into his sides in alt mode... and generally anywhere near his arms where you need to spin them free from the door panels to transform him, and the two slots where the backpack... slots into place onto the chest as you accordion him together.
    ...
in Alt mode, his feet/calves sorta press against his head, which may cause paint chipping...
another area would be the tabs which hold his door panels against his chest in robot mode...
generally not as many as I feared, but enough to be irritating...
for a kitbash though, I think it should be ok, depending on what you've got planned... as long as the replacement bits don't have any clearance issues, you should be ok. XD
    good luck eh? XD
