Hey guys and gals, here is the new Fall of Cybertron Shockwave maxxed out with LEDs and Laser effects!

Like many, I was a little bit disappointed in the new Generations FoC figures. They seemed to suffer a reduction in both size and paint apps. Not much we can do with the size, but a full repaint was definitely in order!

Of course I couldn't resist the urge to liven 'ol Skocks up with some pink and purple LEDs!

    Shockwave boasts:

    Pink LED eye
    Pink LEDs in the chest
Pink LEDs in the lower torso

Purple LEDs in his cannon, activated in either botmode and altmode!

Accompanying with the cannon LEDs is a laser blast effect!

I realized I wasn't too bothered by the shorter stature of the new Generations figures but I was bothered by Shockwav'e skinny lower legs, which weren't accurate at all to the CG model. So I took the armor plates off a second Shockwave and added them to the inside of his lower legs to fill them out. Makes a huge difference and does not affect transformation!

The cannon is powered by a very G1 styled hose for his arm, the trigger button resides on the cannon itself. Careful planning allowed me to retain the blast feature in altmode simply by pressing the top of the space cannon down!

Micro plugs allow secure connections, and the batteries are replaceable!

Enough rambling on, let's let the pics do the talking! Don't forget to check the video demo out to view Shockwave fully! Enjoy!

Wow - the extra leg pieces really make this figure look 10 times better - nice light work too :thumb

Wait... the extra leg panels don't affect transformation!?!?!
    WTF Hasbro?

Can we see the belly in alt mode?

Wow I wish those leg pieces were on the figure. Gets rid of the ugly hollow look too.

SUNNOVABITCH.... I was working on that very same leg mod! At least I know it looks great and doesn't affect transformation. Where are they attached to the inner legs?

Also, I'm not overly fond of how the alt mode is affected by the addition of the hose. Any way to add one and not have the top of the gunship lean back?

Thanks for all the comments guys! I'm glad you like him. To answer a few specific questions:

    Yeah man, here ya go:

That's too funny. I found the head to be the easiet part!

Not really taking on commissions right now, but he's on Ebay now, so go get him!

Ahhhhh, you charrenge me! Tempting, very tempting........I think the G1 chip is huge though...

Would love to see your take my man!

Soldering iron to heat the pins.

It's not really the hose's fault. The hose is not attached for altmode. I think it's a product of the sound chip in the cannon and the batteries in the body changing the geometry of the gunship. Amazing how a difference of less than a millimeter can make such a visible difference.

I intend to correct that on a second version.

Wow, adding those inside legs panels does a wonder of good.

I'm assuming you used an additional SW for this? If so- hardcore.

The led's are also a nice touch. Great job overall!
