That's about 26k a day, and about 520 a state per day, so I'll leave that to you.

And not to be a hater, but seeing Sleeping Dogs and Kingdom Hearts above FOC makes me happy.

Dream Drop Distance did worse when you consider it sold 180k in 26 days. Even worse when you find out that Birth By Sleep on PSP in 2010 sold 225k in the same amount of days. Square Enix can't be happy with that result.

VGChartz is not a reliable source of information, many of their numbers are simply guesses.

Edit: I wasn't aware of that thread. My mistake.

It could be better, but for 4 days it's alright. However, I wouldn't count on a third game in this series with these sales.

I do. They're number 7 for the whole month in just four days. I see that as a success. It's not we expected it to be #1 or 2.

It sold 132k on the 360 alone in its' first month. The NPD tracking period of June 2010 accounted for 12 days of War For Cybertron's sales. I don't have figures for the PS3, and PC versions, or the Wii/DS spinoffs in that time frame.

Something interesting is that they didn't include PC sales in this list.

PC sales were lacking for WFC two years ago too. Seems like, for some reason, that they are hard to track.

Was the PC version released at retail? I'm not finding any listings on Gamestop for a retail release.

The NPD group does not track digital sales.

    Shoot. This could be better.

I'd say a sequel is still on the table though. It got good reviews and Activision likes to milk IPs. I wonder why people didn't pick it up?

Its there on the Gamestop site. Most pc games now are codes u buy then imput them and they download on your computer. Mostly through "Steam" or another.

    Search | GameStop

Yeah, so no retail release for the PC version.

War for Cybertron was a summer release as well. It has likely done better than Fall has.

Actually Steam sales is easiest to track.
The only problem it's only available to Activision staff now.
So untill they make it public, it's hard to guess.

Yeah Activision has said they want a transformers game every year, at least that's what they said before the roft game launched, but this is High Moons third game. Dotm was a movie tie in but sooner or later activision is going to decide they want to go in a different direction, and if they decide foc didn't do well enough they may decide on the sooner and look for another developer.
