We heard about this a while ago but only saw some concept art for it and it looked realy good (as it was different to the usual metallic surfaces we got in wfc) so thank u for finding some more info an pics :thumb  it looks and sounds pretty interesting

This one would be Cliffjumper's level - at least, I believe the area shown in the second of the two images, the indoor area, is one of the areas you get to play as him. IIRC Matt Tieger mentioned that Cliffjumper's stage would be set in the Sea of Rust.

There's an eerie beauty to those pics. A sense of history and reverance. But yet, there is a desolate ruination to it. The war really has cost Cybertron so much, hasn't it?

I cannot wait to get this game. I really cannot :D

The 2nd pic reminds me of a Gladiatorial arena. The attention to detail these guys are going to is amazing and it should be TF gaming eye candy. :thumb

Those aren't concept sketches or art, I believe they are in-game renders.

Meta777: I never thought of the Sea of Rust as an artifact of the war, more of a natural cybertronian landscape. Like a desert, savanah or plain.

Still I've dealt with enough rust in some of the jobs I've worked in the past I'm a little disapointed in these renders. I think there were some renders WAAAY back in Myst that had more "atmosphere".

BTW anyone notice the statues in the "arena"? Those look like Magnus Hammers.
