And yet, hundreds of 8 year olds will still buy it.

    LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

This is just plain wrong. No, FOC is NOT adult-oriented. Only because it has quality gameplay and a somewhat gritty story doesnt mean its adult-oriented. In all of existence, there are only VERY FEW games that are adult-oriented. Call of Duty isnt adult-oriented. Unreal Tournament isnt adult-oriented. War for Cybertron isnt adult-oriented. Battlefield isnt adult-oriented. Even Mass Effect is NOT adult-oriented.

The only games that I have played that I would even considere to be "adult-oriented" are Soul Reaver 1&2. Do you even know what "adult-oriented" means?

Characters included in Fall of Cybertron include: Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, Jazz, Shockwave, Starscream, Onslaught, Blast Off, Cliffjumper, Ironhide, Grimlock, Sludge, Slag, Snarl, Swoop, Soundwave, Brawl, Swindle and Vortex.

Each character will get its own play style, special attack and unique look.

So wait were getting to play as blastoff brawl swindle and onslaught then? Or is this just made up?

I was wondering that as well. Also noticed all 5 Dinobots listed as well.

I think it's pretty clear he meant "adult oriented" as in "appeals to old manchildren". Bad wording that gets taken too literally by NERDS is all.

    Jeez guys

I think they mean 'Adult-Oriented' in the same way that it isn't 'Kid-Oriented' in that it's meant to be for adults, and be a more mature story, rather than a good conquers all story.

You have to admit the ending of WFC was pretty bleak.

Nobody is taking it seriously, that's the point.

Pretty much nobody will believe anything TF is adult-oriented.

Rescue Bots is easier to take seriously, more than TFP sometimes. Which tbh, is quite disheartening.

I'm pretty sure Battlefield is adult-oriented... In fact most games at 15 are. That's why they're 15. I'm sure Mass Effect 3 is because it deals with mature themes in an adult way.

No, it doesnt. It takes alot more than violence (as for Battlefield) and some themes (as for Mass Effect) to make a game truly adult-oriented. These games are entertainment. Nothing more. Only entertaiment. And theres nothing wrong with that, but people have to accept that games are a very very young form of art and it has not yet reached the level that for example movies have. Only very few games are there yet. If you truly want to play an adult game, play The Witcher 1 and 2. Or Soul Reaver. These games are more than entertainment. These games will make you question alot of stuff and make you think about alot of very interesting philosophies. True art.

Perfectly stated. It has become trendy for the last 10-15 years to kill off some character near the beginning to show how "serious" a comic book or game is. You'd think someone would realize that the idea was worn out in movies 20 years ago. How about concentrating on good gameplay and plot development instead?

Again, he worded it badly by saying it was "adult oriented" is all. Transformers, a series about space robots based on a toyline from the eighties, will never be adult. Mr. PR over there in the article just meant that its source material appeals strongly to nostalgic older people, and again, he dun goofed
