So, as many of us already know, Fall of Cybertron Bruticus is on his way in the form of 5 deluxes. My question being, will there just be a case full of 5 single carded figures that make him up, or will he come complete in a 5 figure box set?

I hope Hasbro releases him together in the box-set format and not in single carded figure format... It'd make completing him all the easier... Any thoughts on how he'll be presented to us?

Its a question a lot of us would like answered. I don't think anyone knows at this point, and if they do I am sure they will chime in. Hopefully, we will find out with Toy Fair this weekend.

I highly doubt we'll see a $50 boxset of bad guys unknown to the general public

I hope so... And I REALLY hope all 5 Deluxes come in the same box... I really don't want to turn Walmarts & Targets upside down looking for all 5 pieces lol

I agree it can be fun... But for most of us, the running around can be very costly... Although I have my doubts of them releasing a box set for characters not so well known to the general public as well, I'm still hoping they do it.. You never know...

I'm hoping for a boxed set. As spotty as Hasbro's distribution has been the past year, five separate releases could make it almost impossible to complete the team.

Has there been a combiner in the last ten years that hasn't been released in a box set? I'm waging this one will be boxed lock stock and barrel.

and it would suck extra hard if some were shortpacked/overpacked..

Very true... I sure hope that's the case this time.

Except that these guys are (quite possibly) integral to the story of an upcoming video game. They're not likely to be totally unknown to the general public.

    But what do I know?

A box set would be cool. It could be the next big ticket item like Ultimate Optimus Prime or the various Bumblebees as of late. What would be even better is if it was followed by a Dinobot 5-pack. I would prefer all of the Dinobots but Swoop be at least Voyager size but I can live with Deluxe figures if that was the only way to get them.

Someone in another Bruticus thread said he has the actual magazine and the writer said they are individually packed deluxes.

It's a Transformers game man, it matters to some kids, it matters to us, but what about the casual/hardcore gamer crowd? Those are the ones that churn the money making machine.

    Evidently, they're sold separately.

and how many copies of the first game sold? Games and toys go hand in hand with hit game related toy series such as GOW and Halo.

I'd imagine that even though they'll hit first as individual bots, in the long run they'll show up as a box set exclusive just like every single other combiner has. Every single one.

The question is how long you'd have to wait. Some of the Energon guys took a while to pop up as a box set iirc.

I'm thinking Brutie will be available individually, spread across 2 if not 3 waves (hopefully won't be too tough getting the last 1 or 2) - AND (later) a box set of redecos as some kind of exclusive (going by history, I'd guess Toys R Us or Costco)
