My G2 Blast Off's legs also cannot fully link together in the alternate transformation.

My best guess is that these is some kind of variation of the molds.

Have any suggestions for the Ruination style of Scramble-city combination (that is, the air Combaticons as legs, and the ground Combaticons as arms)?

Since the step by steps (first post in thread) that used to have pictures apparently vanished like dust in the wind, can someone give new pics? I seriously cant figure out the alt transformations based on the rudimentary written instructions.

I wouldn't mind seeing more photos of bruticus. Everyone slowed down on the photos recently

Actually I ended up just doing a few mistransformations combining alot of the various options from this thread for my Bruticus. Got Blast Off and Swindle for arms with Brawl and Vortex for legs. Legs end up a little thin compared to the arms, but it still looks pretty good. All I need is a dowel to do the Swindle-Hand transplant to Blast Off.

I agree. I think he is kind of a work in progress. I have a feeling though that there are going to have to be parts added to make him more than just tolerable.

I'd like to see these pictures reposted as well. I just got the Wreckers and I'd like to consider better transformations of limbs for Ruination (taking into account the official positions of course).

Is the Platinum Grimlock Bruticus set yet another repaint? Or is it the SDCC resold?

I used your transformation, but added some elements of my own.

I have kept the bottom section of bruticus in the official transformation, purely because it's the only way he stands up. i have also modified blast off's transformation. the transformation on this thread made me cringe whenever i tried it on mine. i have folded up one half of the gestalt arm into the back of the whole arm and folded the wing completely in to fill it out. the other half i have left the same.

Note:Sorry the pics are crap i took them on my iPhone

    FOC Bruticus Non-destructive Flamethrower Mod

Yup, you can make your Fall Of Cybertron Bruticus look (more) like the one in the game by flipping Blast Off's jet/flamethrower around, without unscrewing or hacking the toy! Here's how:

Detach the hands at the shoulder ball joint.

Transform the legs like this. The guns should go into the holes on the side of the arms, then into the holes on the legs.

    Like so!

Okay, so he's still a little hollow, but at least it bends at the elbow.

An alternate mode. (Yes, you might've caught me forgetting the chest 'wings'.)

How it works from the other side.

Now if you refer to the game you'd realize I have the flamethrower with the boosters on the wrong side, but the underside of the boosters don't look great at all. You can swap Blast Off's guns and turn the flamethrower the other way for a third mod.

I did an alternate transformation on my wreckers. Here's a side-by-side with the Dudicus.

Nothing special required, just finagle them around a little differently and load up the weapons all over him. Makes the gestalt look much less hollow.

This is the best I've been able to get Bruticus. Used most of the weapons to bulk up his back cannons, and used a couple of PRiD Arcee guns since they seem to fit in well and kind of hide the karate chop hand. I also use the hands on the back of Swindle as heal spurs to help him stand a bit better.

How did you get Blastoffs hand to peg together?

Blastoff's hands are kind of kludgy to get together. On my retail one you just have to partially fold the inner dark purple bits to get them even. On my G2 version they never quite want to line up for some reason, and I have to partially slide out the thigh swivel joints to get it to work.

Thanks a lot for this. Now I can finally get this guy without regrets. I really loved the G2 colourscheme for some weird reason.

    Hey, I read your blog!

Re-uploaded the pictures so that this guide will still be useful.

Photobucket should stop hostaging our images :(
