I thought GPS was a thing of the past by now, in light of Hasbro's advances in the plastics department.

Don't forget the "when are we getting DOTM Soundwave/Wheeljack" threads. And sometimes the forgotten "where is DOTM Mirage" corpse rises from the dead to haunt the first page again.

all we have is a picture of Blastoff, we cannot be certain if it paint or plastic for the color, if that's the real color. The we can't be certain if it is gold/bronze plastic that is the vulnerable kind.

In short people chill out until at least we have figure in hand.

I highly doubt Blast Off is going to look a shiny as that picture does. ALL of Hasbro's promotional photoshoped pics look that shiny and usually do not reflect the final figure. What usually happens is that the final figure is a shade darker than what is seen, which in Blast-Off's case would fit nicely because the original colorscheme was a chocolate brown kind of color and not a kind of bronze.

No one has any idea what the actual color plastic will be, or if it will have metallic flake swirls or anything else that would make it a GPS victim.

Hasbro seems to have learned their lesson in recent years, so I'm not worried.
