Hi all, I just started collecting G1 TFs, so I've been keeping an eye or two on ebay for the last little while. In that time, I've spotted many obvious fake MISB auctions. This has caused me to become ultra careful when bidding... There's currently a MISB G1 AFA (well, so they say - it's easy enough to create a fake AFA box and label) Optimus Prime up that I was going to bid on, but then I noticed that there are 2 bubbles on the blue and white sticker on Optimus' trailer (near the left side). G1 1984 AFA 85 OPTIMUS PRIME (B80,W90,F90 Archival) | eBay Edit: Also, the grey stripe sticker across Optimus' cab has gaps, whereas the authentic MISB Optimus' that I've seen do not. Here's a picture of a reissue to compare with: http://i1137.photobucket.com/albums/n507/adminprime/DSCF0224JPG.jpg Taken from: http://www.transformersemporium.com/Page-2.html e3nine's guide says that the stickers should be perfect: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...prime-original-vs-reproduction-revisited.html All in all, the box looks genuine to me, but the figure does not. So, now I'm thinking that this is a fake. What do you think?
