    Ebay:
I would like to bring some attention to a seller who is currently selling and has quite possibly sold more, fake Lucky Draw Henkei Galvatrons. He is listing them as the real deal though and that's where the problem stars.

    Here is the auction

Here are the photos posted in the auction. Notice the orange joints.

Here are photos of the real deal in package. Notice the GOLD cannon tab:

So here are some comparisons of the 4 versions of the figure:

TO make it simple, here is the break down of parts for these figures.
Classics Galvatron- Orange tab and joints
Henki Galvatron- black tab and joints
Lucky Draw Galvatron - gold tab, can't see joints but you can expect that the are the same color as the tab.
Fake Lucky Draw Galvatron - orange tab and joints

So to make matters worse, instead of being an original mold, as the lucky draw always are, it appears that a Classics Galvatron has been taken apart, chromed over in gold, and reassambled to appear like a lucky draw Galvatron.

Someone is willing to spend big money for this, and the seller has a reserve also proving that he will not accept a low offer for this item which is clearly worth less than the original retail of the figure: $9.99

    Enjoy
As you can see, the "lucky draw" being sold online is fake. It has orange joints

Hmm. It certainly would explain how he has so many. But if that's the case, where did the clear Soundwaves come from?

I have also reported it. I feel very sorry the person who ends up paying a ridiculous price for this fake lucky draw. Many people would see the chrome and think that it has to be legitimate.

People have to be made more aware of the fact that ordinary people can have access to spray and vacuum metalising. Anyone could take a toy apart, apply the chrome finish and then screw it back together. Voila, a toy that looks like a genuine Takara lucky draw, then you sell it with a stupidly inflated reserve price to make a profit.

Is the STARSCREAM he is selling a KO too? that baby is up to over $700 bucks. I have never seen nor am I an expert on lucky draw items It looks nice but if it is a custom figure he should list it as a custom figure not a lucky draw

It puts the LD Starscream in very speculative territory.

The reason the bid is so high is because I am leading the charge on that one...

I have been waiting for a while to find a solid reason to call this guy out and here is the chance. He always has a ton of awesome stuff, but it appears, perhaps TOO awesome. A real shame. Or maybe we can get an explanation???????

That sucks. If it is a custom then sell it as a custom. like custom home made lucky draw. or something like that. Selling it as legit is not cool at all and I love a good KO.

I was the one who emailed the seller and directed him to the first post in this thread. He said he got this one from an Asian seller (and another one, can't remember which), and he pulled the auction until he can determine with his seller if it's real or not (definitely not). The other stuff looks legit to me, he probably got scammed himself thinking it was a real LD.

The seller has had a lot of what appear to be legit items.

The fact that he has had 3 of these in various states (MISB, loose) over the past month or two bring on some suspicions about these particular items.

Doesn't mean the rest of the items are not 100% authentic, but I think it's good he took it down.

I do not think that that "Lucky Draw Starscream" is legit either. I believe that is is E-hobby Ghost Starscream. There was a lucky draw ghost Starscream about 6 years ago and the difference between the E-hobby ghost and the lucky draw ghost is that the lucky draw one is entirely clear-even the die-cast is clear IIRC. The die-cast on the E-hobby one is colored red just every other one is. The pics in that auction show that as much. Here is a fair comparison:

Transformers @ the Moon is not even sure what the lucky draw figure really looks like-they are not sure if it even exists! Can anyone shed anymore light on this ?

Lastly, aren't lucky draw figures given out in special no-frills boxes ? This one is in the standard re-issue packaging-I do not think that is right either.
