I don't know if it's only me, but is everyone's faith restored in the DOTM toyline?
    I mean...
between Leader Sentinel, Leader Ironhide, the HA figures, the Wreckers, all of which look to be good figures... is your faith in the line rekindled?
I thought it was pretty shi* at first, between the lack of arms on Voy. Ironhide, the feet of Skids, the atrocity of some of the Mech Tech. etc...
But with all these postive reviews coming out...
I'm willing to give it a chance... what about you?

I for one really like them, I think they did a good job. It only makes me that much more confident about the movie as well, looks like we will have some really good looking bots this movie!
    Its an A for me.

When I first saw voyager Prime and deluxe Skids awhile ago, I had a bad feeling the line would be crappy. But after seeing some of the recent pics my faith in the line is restored.

I like what I see, but I don't see myself going much further past Cyberverse. Other than the necessary evils that are deluxe Crankase and the Wreckers, of course.

so far there are only 3 molds I plan on getting, I'm really unimpressed with them, then again the Movie aesthetic never really grew on me. But SP, Ironhide and the Autobot Copter are for sure bought but so far thats it

Leader Sentinel Prime is a great looking figure...for ANY continuity or line. I really didn't think I was going to buy any DotM figures, but I will definitely pick him up and possibly Shockwave(45% chance). And while I'm likely to pass on most of the others in the line, it is less those figures having anything wrong with them and more my unwillingness to part with money unless a figure has an unrealistic amount of "right" with it lol.

Well they made the gimmick work but the Sideswipes's colors are awful.
Mold is good though but Leaders rock so far.

Like a lot of others, this^

To be honest, the only ones I don't like are the ones that seem like a step back. I appreciate Voyager Optimus a bit more after seeing Peaugh handle him, but I just still have a problem with that chest. I think hasbro needs to work on their fake windowboobs on Optimus like that and TF Prime.

I don't mind Mechtech for the most part, and I like it when it's done well on the figures. As long as it doesn't become intrusive, it'll be a neat little gimmick for a while until they drop it.

It definitely looks like Hasbro is keeping the idea of providing detailed and screen-accurate figures for the new characters that are introduced in DOTM and that suits me just fine. They are more going the kiddie route with the old, established characters that really don't need another version of the same toy, which seems like a wise course of action as well. I will say that I plan on picking up drastically fewer figures this time around, but the ones that I want do look pretty amazing (Sentinel, Ironhide, Wreckers...). I will gladly add these news guys (and one old one) to my collection.

This is actually a pretty solid explanation for that...I can't believe it never crossed me before.

But in any case, yeah, same here :D

I for one never lost faith in the line.

U always have to give it time to see the whole line before judging IMO.

The Shockwave i saw looks awesome and of course SP and Megs look amazing.

I will def be picking up at least 3 Bots from the DOTM line.
