LOL!! I guess she wasnt exspecting that.
That's what you get for marrying Tim McGraw. If you accept male cookie-cutter country like him, you should be prepared to accept that the winner of a karaoke contest can be the CMA female artist of the year.
Man, her response is awesome. "WHAT!?"
That was classic. Now I'm really glad Carrie won.
Faith Hill's always played the good girl. It's about time she had a heel turn.
Here's to looking forward to her pile-driving Carrie Underwood through a table on Good Morning America.
They actually reward New Country artsists?
Sorry. I was making fun of the way Hollywood centric creatures and musicians cultivate a certain public image, and likening it to wrestling and the way the stars of a wrestling show cultivate a certain "side" to their character. And then I took the joke over-the-top with the pile-driver through the table comment.
Faith Hill has lost a touch of popularity playing the good girl. And the bad girl makes the press these days. Thus, it's time for her to play the bad girl. So, she pulls a stunt like we see here to start her heel turn. (Heel = bad, face = good.) Or, maybe she shouldn't have gotten licquored up before going on live TV. But I have a hard time believing anything a public figure does on live TV isn't done on purpose.
They get a bottle of Wild Turkey and a harlequin romance novel for winning.
That was really funny.
Bah, I prefer Lucinda Williams, Gillian Welch, Allison Kraus, and the Emmylou Harris types...this new country that has been plaguing the airwaves for the past 15 some years suck.
So today her publicist says its all a big joke. Yeah,Right.
New designer dress - $5000
Professional hairdressing - $300
Looking like a sore looser on national TV - Priceless
Well at least she walked off stage didn't pull a Kanye West.
I wonder if someone told her ahead of time that she won the award, only to find out she didn't. That happened to me last year.
you're a country music artist? WOWWY ZOWWEEE!!!...
I didn't realize Warpath was a country music fan.
Thank you, I'll be here all week. *DODGES TOMATO* Don't forget to tip your waitress.
