For those at Botcon, was Wingblade Prime up for showing?
And is there any chance of cost cutting that would ruin the figure?

He was shown. It was the deluxe mold (earth mode w/ no battle damage). It comes with all the show armor, which can be put together to form a trailer. The armor also works with the Voyager Prime. Not sure about cost-cutting, though.

Knowing what happened to ROTF SS, the armor WILL probably b just for deluxe and not for voyager... Unless Hasbro does a Pohatu.

Well, that's a relief. Any word on the format of the Magnus Hammer?

What do you mean? It just... looks like the Magnus hammer. I'm not really sure what else you were expecting.

Like if it can fit in the fist hole of most Transformers.

Ah, okay. I'd imagine so, as Wingblade Prime seems to have pretty standard fist-holes, but that's not something I could say for certain without having the toy.

Thanks. So he's just a Deluxe Earth Mode Optimus redecoed like Samurai Prowl to fit with his trailer armor?

Sorta like that, yes. And probably remolded on a few parts like Samurai Prowl as well.

yes they did confirm at the panel that the armour would also be perfectly compatable with voyager prime as well.

    Ebay:
Wingblade Prime is generally win, going by what we saw on the slides. He's the redeco of Battle Begins Prime that a lot of people wanted (no battledamage), he looks like a super robot when he has all the armour on, and putting the armour onto the Voyager version looked very show-accurate.

..I'm failing to see where the facepalm in the title fits into anything.

Because it is a stupid topic that does not deserve the audience of Vangelus.

AND VANGELUS, YOU HAVE SAVED MY HOPES FROM BEING CRUSHED.

yeah, I didn't get that either. How can you facepalm something when you haven't seen a single picture?

But never mind the wings and armour, what about the trailer mode? Is it like a stylised version of the 80s prime trailer, or is it more like a bunch of parts stuck together in an unconvincing trailer-like shape. I presume the addition bumps it up to voyager, so does this mean the trailer was roughly the size of another deluxe? If so, would that not make it on the small side?

I'm sold, except I'll just swap the armor to my original Battle-Damaged "Battle Begins" Prime for more show-accuracy, along with a needed trailer.

Random Facepalming is the most heroic thing a person can possibly accomplish in a lifetime.

To all those who have randomly facepalmed, and all who aspire to do so, I salute you.
