Fire Blast OP? Still like the normal movie colors more, and not a collector of FABs

Looks more like a Rodmius Prime repaint to me, they made a Smokescreen from Jazz for FAB I believe, so why not Roddy?

Looks like fire guts-ish deco to me. Pretty cool, I love the FAB Prime mold. (good for fighting Bonecrusher) And he's pretty fun. Not worth buying twice, though I may change my mind.

It's not old news, since it's the first eBay auction for this Proto.

The FP title's just sorta misleading.

    EDIT: Oh, look at that.:)

    Fireguts...is dat jou?
    ...nah, couldn't be.

From the pics we've already seen, he looks a bit more like Voyager First Strike Prime in robot mode, here's hoping. . .

Nah, the blue is a dusty metallic, and there's no G1 deco to it.

I think this is a Fire Guts homage.

Rodimus Prime homage? Hm... they should change the name and the head.

I can see an Energon Rodimus based kitbash coming out of this one. I might actually get him since I do like that deco.

Man, Hasbro needs to decide what red/orange to use on that and stick with it. There's like three different shades on that truck.

Yeah, he's an Energon Rodimus homage more than a G1 Rodimus Prime homage. I kinda would have liked a Nightwatch or First Strike color scheme more. Seeing movie characters wear all kinds of different color schemes that would be more at home in a Japanese Transformers anime just annoys me. One or two different color schemes is fine but when they get to three and four, then its entered RiD/AEC territory.

Aw man, I was avoiding buying the FABs so far (except as gifts for the nephues), but I may need this for the Rodimus pile >.<

Paint is a bit sloppy, and the plastic is mismatched, but I like the look! Honestly, this truck mode is what Rodimus Prime should have looked like from the get-go, in G1. A long-nosed, chopped-top semi truck is MUCH more authoritative and leaderly than a rodded-out Space Winnebago.

I'll probaby get this, since I never got the FAB Prime mold before. But looking at reviews online, it actually looks like quite a fun little mold.
