Forgive me if it has been posted before, but looking through TFWiki, they said that ROTF Legends Devastator will be "available as a store-exclusive set" in "Hasbro's markets". Does that mean this set will make it Stateside somehow, someway or another?

    Thanks!

Oh okay, so Hasbro has retracted their "store exclusive" statement. Shame, it would be really awesome if they brought it over here.

Well, I hope Devastator sees a state side release.

I don't understand why it isn't already here NOW. Do they think it'll detract from the Supreme Class Devs selling?

    Just doesn't make sense.

Is there anywhere the Japan EZ Devs can be purchased for shipping to the US?

One would guess that it will get a US release at some point, and it is suprising that there hasn't been updates on it's status. I say make it an exclusive release giving one piece each to TRU, KMart, Target, Walmart, Big Lots, and Safeway just to make it interesting and piss us all off.

I still don't see what people see in this set. I understand the issues people have with the big one, but this one just looks goofy in every mode.

Probably that's the case as the Supreme set hasn't really sold quite as well. Japan EZs are currently ridiculously expensive, with individual figures going as high as $18. The whole set hasn't been spotted on EBay.

Well, personally, I like the fact that you get a good robot transformed from a group of transformable robots. Its quite a novelty to have it at that size as well, quite like the Ice Cream Twins.

Keep checking ebay. I bought the set off ebay back in July for $85.00 including shipping. A little high, but I didn't want to risk them not being available here.

retracting the store exclusive bit merely means it will be EASIER to find, not harder.

Why wouldn't Hasbro? I'm sure lots of people want Devastator in some form, and those that can't afford the big guy will likely flock for the Legends.

I've seen them on eBay and other online markets for between $60 - 85, so they're out there.

Not having a US release would be silly. Legends sell well, and a set like this would be as hot here as it is in Japan.
As a note, a friend of mine just came back from a 2 week stay in Japan and saw nothing but empty shelves/bins where EZ figures are sold.

they will most likely come to the west but spread over the later waves like wise if you look at the EZ collection now that devi is out their releasing the regular prime, jetfire etc so it just seems to be a cast of wave switching

    Ebay:
Hasbro said he'd be out next year. Of course they aren't going to put it out now since they want to sell their $100 Devestator. Many customers would go for the $30 version instead of the $100 one. By next year, the $100 should have run its course of sales so then they can release it and not compete with it.
