Doesn't get more G1 than pasting the original Getaway head right over the existing one huh :D

Also changed his legs and gun to G1 appropriate colors, and added the blue knees to mirror the old spoiler.

I'm going to at least put a face plate on the toy for real. It's amazing how far one single part being different can carry a toy. With a new head this guy could've felt like a pretty close update rather than a mere color homage.

...sure, but Breakaway's head deco is based on Getaway's comic model, where he had a blue helmet and a mouth instead of the faceplate.

(also, if you're thinking of giving him a Powermaster, Mini-Con Makeshift is probably your best general bet, in that he folds up into a box with round thingies on either side that could be kitbashed into an "engine" pretty easily.)

Perhaps, but the toy version of him had a faceplate, so it makes perfect sense if Ktulu wants to give him one (which, by the way, ought to be light grey, rather than yellow).
If the figure was supposed to be Getaway in the first place, they'd probably have given him one, but since it would have involved a retool in this case, it's also understandable why he has the mouth at the moment.

Good eye on Makeshift, though, Hoop. :D

Yes I was more interested in matching the look of the original toy rather than the comic design, hence the G1 toy's head used for the digibash :p

I much prefer the faceplate look

Hey do you think you could digi this guy into Breakdown maybe through a more G1 anime type head on him. I'm working on a kitbash and need some inspiration. Thanks in advance if you can do it
