Spiderman Web of Shadows - Amazing Allies Edition Activision already has made players look like idiots when Spiderman 2 for PC and Spider-Man 3 for the PS2 came out. Everywhere, even in the official page, you found pics and videos that promised a high quality game, much like the consoles version. The same has happened now. You might say -"No man! PS2 version will never be like PS3/XBOX 360! Yes, I know. But atleast I was expecting some quality, not a port of the psp version. Which is an awful side-scroller game, pretty much an upgrade of every single Spider-Man Beat 'em up I've played on the SNES which is a lot to say, because Maximum Carnage is one of the best Spidey games I've played, from the music (which this one lack) to the cutscenes and the gameplay. , with none of the things we've seen in trailers so fighting is basically Square for punching, Triangle for kicking and X for jumping and that's it. - But check the name of the game! it says "Amazing Allies edition" That doesn't change a thing, it's not a bad game on it's own, but when you compared it to what they promised us, and what the PS2 can do when it comes to graphics and gameplay, it really boils my blood. Activision did it again, just like it fooled PC players, it fooled PS2 players. It fooled me, I didn't bought the game BTW, I found a review online. Yep, no free roam, no sweet assed web-slingin' action fighting. Oh and guess what, you can beat the game in 45 minutes and the only thing you get is "Congratulation, you saved Manhattan" WTF?! What's happening it's so obvious it makes me angry. They want to kill the PS2, early. "They" is almost every big name in the Videogame industry. Almost all the great platformers had a half assed version for the Wii and PS2 (Alone in the Dark, I hate you!). It's no secret, it's actually (evil) marketing. So bye bye, my beloved Playstation, enjoy sitting there gathering dust in a little box like my SNES, and hope that one day I'm bored I might pull you out. I'm getting a new gen next year, I'm such a hipocrit.
