is it ever explained in the comics or the movie novelization how Bumblebee got a Stealth Force mode? Also is it just me or does Sideswipe turn into a stealth mode during the highway scene?

 

Someone on the Autobot team designs Stealth Force, and Bumblebee tries it out first, as the guinea pig. And yes, Sideswipe was in Stealth Force mode in that scene.

 

Stealth force isn't an actual mode, it's literally halfway transforming. They're just revealing their robot-mode weapons and becoming more all-terrain.

And yes, Sideswipe does it, too.

What about Steve Mode?

 

The Comics doesnt reveal they DONT even show the stealth force mode in the prequel comcis so no, no explanation for that one in comics

 

Which is why Sideswipe was able to vault over the flipped over cars. His arms become the front corners of the corvette and those were what tossed him up.

 

What didn't you know it's a fad like Mechtech and Wheel Feet....All the cool bots are doing it so why aren't you?
