Most I' ve paid was $120 ish for MP-01/2/3 and 5. When the super crazy deluxe Movie Bumblebee comes out that will probably be the most expensive one I buy. Let's see.... advertised price in the USA is $89.99 which means Canadian price will be around $150 or more.

Around $300.00 for Palisades Devastator, around $200.00 for G1 Predaking reissue giftset, and around $200.00 for MP-04 Prime w/ trailer all come to mind as the most expensive single-shot purchases I've made. G1 Jetfire & Shockwave are up there as well, but not much more than Masterpiece price.

All total, I've probably spent easily over $3500.00 in the past 8-10 months replenishing some of my favorite G1's and collecting all the Classics, most of the Titaniums and the G1 Autobot character Alternators... plus the spare MP-04 to keep MISB, the Commemorative Edition of Soundwave, the Palisades Devastator statue and one-off things like the WST Dinobots & Revoltech Prime.

What sucks is that I still have 2 Alternators left to get, 2 MP Megatron's, Revoltech Megatron and of course all the new Titaniums. What a friggin expensive year.

I don't remember, because most Transformers were bought by my parents back then. I only spend 40 DM (~20 Euros) for the G1 classics of Sunstreaker and Prowl in the early 1990's.
I know that the original G1 Optimus Prime, Power Master Optimus Prime, Sixshot weren't cheap back then in Germany. But they were gifts =)

    too

when i first discovered the secondary toy market back in the mid 90s, i was young and dumb and paid $225 for a *cough* MIB G1 Megatron.
when he landed at my door, the box was scuffed to hell, styrofoam was missing chunks and he was very limber.

i spent 150 for a loose but complete fort Max and felt tons better about that.
