    Just polling opinion here.

Who thinks the TF Exodus book would be great material for a direct to DVD movie? There are some excellent set piece battles in there (Omega Supreme, Sentinel Prime VS Megatron), and the open-ended nature of the plot means it could fit in with whichever series Hasbro cared to release it against.

I'm not suggesting a direct adaptation - the beginning of the book moves too slow for a movie - but the basic plot is a goldmine and the set piece battles would look incredible animated. And to be totally honest, the story and the way it weaves things together is excellent and deserves a wider exposure than just those who read the books.

I've not read Exodus yet but after watching WfC's cutscenes I would be first in the queue for a DtDVD movie set in the WfC-verse, animated to the same standard as those cutscenes.

I would definitely be interested in a direct-to-DVD movie version of Exodus. :)

YES! Might as well. OVA style(high budget, maybe more than 1 episode...higher than TV quality but less than movie quality), aimed at older audiences like the Bruce Timm DC cartoons.

It would be pretty good, but I'd rather they used the DS story after chapter 16 rather then the novel, it would be a better story where Megatron isn't a thugish addict.

I'd also like them to fix the duplicate characters, there are two different Omega Supremes and Bruticus Maximus'.

    Anyway, yes.

I'd be into that. Eventually maybe a War of the Primes OVA. That'd be epic.

    I would.

I still haven't read Exodus, but I really want to, I'm game for any TF DtDVD stuff.

I got my copy at Books-A-Million. But it was the only copy on the shelf. I don't know how heavily it was ordered.

As for a direct-to-DVD movie, yes please.

Meh, I'd sooner see something entirely new, rather than just an adaptation of a novel.

I'm still waiting on adaptations of the original IDW cycle of Infiltration/Stormbringer/Escalation/Devastation/Revelation/Maximum Dinobots so Su, Figueroa, Roche et al.'s designs will be made into toys.

But Exodus would be good, I'm surprised there isn't an audiobook for it by Cullen.

    Hell Yeah! :rock

I never read Exodus but considering how direct dvd's are actually pretty good, why not. DC and Marvel are doing well with it.

You could do a retrospective on the different Primes.
