Knew it, definitely NOT an Arcee remold like some people swore it was. Might wait for the black repaint if I pick this mold up though...

If it's a black repaint, will it be movie style or comic style. The web design seems not painted so I guess it will be just movie style...

Well that pretty much comfirms the shitty-ness of MTF Spidey. I wasn't going to buy that thing before. Now I'm gonna avoid it like the black death.

And I thought the SWTF were bad.

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little...

    You said "more bigger".

Spidy looks like he took some notes from arcee when he learned how to transform.
He looks ok to me, but Animated and Universe are defiantly going to be taking priority over crossovers.

can someone explain the some-what un-warranted criticism of this thing? it has two very defined and obvious modes, and the robot mode looks just like spider-man. how anyone can say these look bad compared to the barely recognizable robot modes on the SWTFs is beyond me.

I actually didn't think anything of this figure till this review, good job like always.
I actually think these look way better than the POS SWTF's I've handled, and they seem a little tougher too.

Definetley looks a lot better than the SWTF's we've gotten. Other than maybe Venom, there aren't really any that I currently plan to get. Hey, when you go to take pictures of Venom, if you haven't already, could you get a picture comparing him to Classics Optimus Prime if possible? Thanks.

I can't speak for the other criticizms, but for myself it's not the articulation or looks of the modes. It's just a flat out bad idea, much like the SWTF were. The concept is just laughable, IMHO. Transformers, Star Wars, and Marvel are all seperate entitites. Comic book crossovers are one thing, but to make a toy that transforms into a robotic Spidey? C'mon!

Now, let it be said that if you're a fan of these more power to you - I will never put down a collector for buying a toy, even if it's one I don't like. But the TF Universe (for me) will never include any Spider-man/Peter Parker, Hulk/Bruce Banner, Death Star/Vader Transformers.

Thanks for the review. I don't mean this to be rude, but it's really hard to watch these sometimes because your hands shake a lot when you're transforming the toys. I don't know if it's because they're tight and resistant to transforming or what, but I watched the nosecone of the bike bang into the table like four times in a row. (I apologize if this is a condition that you can't help.) Just trying to be helpful.

As for the figure, I think I'll have to pass, but if I found it on clearance, I'd buy it.

P.S. I've been trying to read the tatts on your fingers... are they "Love Life" ??

ok, see this is a better reply than just straight out bashing the product. if you're going to say something sucks, at least try to give some intelligible reason for your views. granted, marvel TFs may be a silly idea, but i think that's just about what makes them attractive to me.
