Do you think that the voyager Excavator Constructicon is going to be part of the Devastator Supreme pack? I would pretty much want to get the Constructicons in one pack instead of buying them individually.

From what we know, all seven of the Constructicons are going to be sold together, in one large box, and that definitely includes the excavator-bot.

I think they're being sold separately and as a gift set...I think you'll make a saving by going with the gift set though

I think that the giftset includes some non-transformable versions of the constructicons, much like the drones Energon Prime had.

It was reported some time ago, actually.

In keeping with the 25th anniversary spirit, I would love to see the Movie Devastator giftset packaging with a very similar design to the G1 Devastator giftset packaging (i.e. window for each figure and kick ass box art on the right hand side).

S250 was able to debunk that (he was also the one who first posted it too). From what we currently know, six out of the seven will definitely have bot-modes, and the seventh one is unknown atm.

Extra points if they have the combined mode be pictured in the box exactly like G1 Devy was on his gift set.

I don't care how much I have to pay, I just want to see all 7 constructicons in the gift pack transform into the 7 constructicon robots and into Devastator.

I would imagine given Red Leader's information that the seventh one from Devastator will be the cement mixer, who probably won't transform due to also incorporating an SFX pack into him. I can see how it would work if it were just the Mixer and combiner part from the leaked artwork, but I cannot see where the robot mode would fit. To me it looks like the mixer drum opens out to become that bladed spine and the head is in the cab. Which leave only the underside of the drum for robot mode parts, in all fairness, which seems like not a lot of room at all.

The other six have more leeway, but I fear the inclusion of SFX mutually excludes a robot mode, though I'd absolutely love to be wrong and see a robot come out of that. I could be done - G1 Mixmaster would almost work.

I'm pretty sure there will be individual Constructicons too, one was suggested by the Toyfair article.

The lights and sounds could be embedded in the barrel itself, or perhaps there's a snap on attachment that contains the sound effects chip and batteries and the magnets are used to make the electrical connection.

Good point. Devs is one of few cases where I would be entirely ok with a partsformer if it meant that all seven bots somehow had their own bot-modes. I'd even be ok without the lights and sounds. But knowing Hasbro they seem to stray away from partsforming gestalts nowadays, and anything larger than a Voyager, and even some Voyagers for that matter, seems to have some kind of light, sound, or even both shoved into it. I'd be ok with individual CC's too, though I would absolutely love to own a two foot tall transformer. Will have to wait to see some pics of them to decide, and hopefully one or two good reviews with plenty of pictures.

"Characters combine to form the ultimate movie villain from ROTF lights and Sound bring this character to life, Large scale transformer packed with features"

It may just be me reading too much into this but "Characters Combine" tells me that they Transform. Otherwise I would think they would say Vehicles instead of Characters. Thats like calling just Batmans Utility Belt a Character. But thats just me.
