    clarification:
the truck from Kill Bill (the P-Wagon) isn't an icon...not yet, anyway.

Now the AM DB-5 is what you would call a P-Wagon...man, it attracts chicks like free twinkies at a Jenny Craig retreat.

For the most part the list is ok. The Warthog is iffy for me.

but gawd, gimme Ecto-1 and i can die happy...

I don't think they're ranked in any order (as they are not numbered, outside of the photos themselves), just 17 great pop culture cars.

So yeah, some great ones on that list. I wasn't even thinking about Doc's DeLorean but quite happy to see it. 80's KITT hell yes, O8's hell no. That's like saying the Knight Rider 2000 version could be iconic. Plus one of my personal favs, the A-Team van. Outstanding!

that list is ridiculous, the pussy wagon is hardly even in the movie and it's on the list? what about McQueen's Bullitt Mustang? heck i'd even take Paul Walker's Supra....

There was no Ferrari in Magnum P.I. That was a Corvette kit car.

Yeah, no way in hell does the Pussy Wagon belong on here. I'd argue the same for the Warthog, which isn't even a real car.

The rest look good, though. I'm very pleased to see the Interceptor on there, as it's probably my personal favorite.

Actually Magnum's car was a Ferarri, or at least, according to Classic TV Cars.com.

Anyhow, they got my favorite cars on the list. I'm not even sure how the "Pussy Wagon" got onto the list (does anyone really remember that car from the first movie?). I had totally forgotten the Ghostbusters had a car (but then its been a while since I've seen the movies).

    1. The Mach 5 - (Speed Racer)

    2. The Ford Falcon Interceptor - (Mad Max/Road Warrior) - The Coolest name I've heard for a Non Shelby Cobra Ford Vehicle.

    3. The DeLorean - (Back to the Future)
    4. The Bluesmobile - (The Blues Brothers)
    5. Aston Martin DB5 - (Goldfinger)
    6. The General Lee - (The Dukes of Hazzard)

What no Whomobile, Bessie, Magnum PI Ferrari, Hardscastle & McCormick Coyote, Simon & Simon PowerWagon or Bullitt Mustang? FOR SHAME!

BTW it was Crockett's Ferrari Daytona on Miami Vice that was built out of a Corvette. The Testarossa they used later was real.

I'm kind of surprised Optimus Prime wasn't on there. Specially since they put in the Mach 5 and KITT. Same for Magnum PI's Ferrari. Warthog seemed a little weird, too. You'd figure something like Mario's go kart would be a better choice. Lastly, wtf is up with no Herbie? They put in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, but no Herbie the Love Bug? I agree with most of the others though. Except the PWagon of course. That was a pretty stupid choice.

    1. Why seventeen? I hate odd numbers (except for multiples of three).

    2. Bumblebee? Optimus Prime? (Hot Rod?) Herbie? Lightning McQueen?

    3. Mach 5, definitely - but they should've included pics of the live-action version, too.

    4. Some might consider this blasphemy, but the best Bond car was the BMW 750iL from Tomorrow Never Dies. I mean, it was frickin' remote controlled with a frickin' cell phone.

    5. Austin Powers' Shaguar, anyone? Or his time-travelling New Beetle?

    6. Michael Scott's sweet Chrysler Sebring convertible, baby. A paper-selling machine.

Sorry but I own the first two seasons of Magnum and have seen every episode of it a least once, it's a Ferrari 308. They wanted to use a Porshe but porshe does not do custom stuff on there cars (the produers wanted them to widen area of the removeable part of the roof to better get shots and what not) so they went with the Ferrari 308 because of its removeable hard top.

Well I wanted to edit my post but after five minites of waiting for it to load this is easyer. bugmenot you were right they did use kit cars on magnum (for the more agressive driving) but they did also have a number of real Ferraris too. Fond the info here: http://www.magnum-mania.com/Articles/The_Ferrari.html

Thank you for backing me up on that, although I expected kit cars for hard stuff, no one really wants to throw around a car like a 308GT on a TV show budget.
