So these were two customs I had made for my brother a while back. Bee has had all the flashy sporty stuff trimmed from his alt mode and also had a bit of a facelift. (his door panels and hood parts-form but that's intentional for display purposes)
Goldbug is a RTS Bee with a custom head (modified Jazz head) and all his black removed. I removed the black from the roof with a pink gum eraser to avoid having to repaint and match the original color. Here is the link for just the head with closer detail:

Removing some parts and the hood bump so that Goldbug looks like more of an upgrade in both modes? I like that!

I'd also considered using a Jazz head to start a Goldbug, until I started detailing my extra Jazz instead of taking his head. You make it work really well!

I like the subtle changes you've made to Bumblebee's car mode. Nice. It suits him well, and makes him look a little less aggressive overall.

    Thanks!
Thanks bud. This is the eraser.

I just so desperately wanted to keep this project simple so I took a shot in the dark with the eraser and it worked. It has very fine edges that allowed me to get the black out from the angles especially around the scoop on the roof.

    Thanks alot dude!

I always liked the idea of Bumblebee getting an upgrade. Plus he looked really cool in the cartoon. The toy on the otherhand.......

It was pretty simple. That was the whole point of this project Thanks diggin' it mate!

Yeah, I was amazed that it worked. Just don't rub too hard because it will take off the yellow underneath unless it's cast plastic.

    Thanks fellas!

Yeah I trhought that molds bot mode looked more like the Throttlebot rather than the Bee. All it took was removing the scoops, spoiler and trimming the front fender. I also removed the tab that sits atop his back and attatched it to his roof for an even more simplified look. For GB I added yellow to the forearm cuffs so they would appear longer.
Haha, thats funny. Well it is Christmas-time!
