My sister does this all the time. They never go to the movies and wait for the cheap bootleg to come out. Partly to save money, and partly cause they don't care about on screen quality, just want to see a flick. I hate that she does that, but oh well.
I don't know why people would want to watch Transformers from a shitty camcorder anyway. Part of the amazing thing about Transformers is the special effects, colours and visuals. A lot of that would be lost in a movie-theatre recording.
I think for some it's more about loving it at the Cinema and enjoying again on bootleg. Personally I think movie companies should just sell you a copy for home use after you see it at the Cinema.
I saw it in the theater and then watched a Russian language bootleg and made up my own dialogue. It was much better the second time around.
Though I neither condone nor condemn bootlegs, I have to say that I was deployed to Kyrgyzstan during the release of RotF. AAFES dropped the ball on getting us a certified copy, so the only way we could watch it was on bootleg. It wasn't until I got home and was finally able to buy it on Blu-ray that I was able to see it at its original resolution. Just saying, it sucks to be deployed when your favorite franchise is in the theaters. Bootlegs can be helpful when you really need it.
there's a bootleg on youtube of the last 10 mins of the movie, and with me NOT having seen the movie yet, i couldnt resist! damn myself!damn bootlegs! just damnit!!!
I tried to watch one just now, they started at the scene where he sees his parents, the audio was echoed and creepy and the film looked like some old west shit. I turned it off. Im buying this the day it comes out, but what can I say, I wanted to see it again and give hasbro my money toywise for now. If the quality sucks , who cares if people watch it, nobodys hurting anybody. Unless they are walkin around the ghetto sellin 2 dollar copies, but I mean....thats just sad. Im goin to the theatre again next week
Yeah, I saw the same one. I already saw it in theatres earlier this week, but I'm still goin' again next week.
i found 2 bootlegs of dotm 1.worst quality ever and in ittalian 2.best quality so far for a bootleg but the audio was like 8 seconds behind so there is no good bootlegs
I've seen it in IMAX 3D but... I do own a VERY good copy just for my personal viewings at home until the DVD hits stores But I fully support seeing it in theaters. The more money it makes the more we will get from Hasbro in the future.
