I saw them several times back before tangerine when they played here locally. One show they did in Norman was awesome. So awesome they almost burned the place down! haha

I've seen them a couple of times, but the best show was on the Soft Bulletin "headphone tour." They would broadcast the mix over the radio, so you could hear the top end in your headphones and get the thump from the house PA system. On top of that, they had already started doing all the strobe lights/fake blood/hand puppets/confetti by then...it was a great time, though it didn't hurt that the show was in a room that holds 650.

I've seen them 4 times so far. Always a GREAT show.

I really enjoyed the tour were they opened and served as Becks back-up band. The show was at the detroit opera house and the acoustics were just mind blowing.

I've seen them twice. First time was when they co-headlined with Wilco for their New Years Eve show at Madison Square. That was absolutely killer. Then I just saw them again this past summer when they played the Allentown Fair with Sonic Youth and Ween.

Saw them at a free show last summer at a park in Atlanta. Not the biggest fan in the world, but they did put on a great show.

They covered 'Bohemian Rhapsody,' which was a blast.

Saw them in Montreal last summer during the very first "Osheaga" music festival. It is one of my top five concert going moments of all time. There's nothingh quite as joyful as the Flaming Lips in concert, open air, with a light sprinkling of rain coming down just after the sun's gone down. Hell, that was a beautiful night.
