I used to deal with the dude (cant recall his name) a lot several years ago. Then his website got hit by a virus and it seemed like he was never able to recover.

Met him and had a ton of great conversations and deals when he was working a table at Botcon. He's always been a stand-up guy whenever I've dealt with him. Can't say I've talked to him in awhile though.

Try contacting him via his ebay auctions. I will try to find out who he is but no promises as I cannot remember who he is either......

    Memory sucks......

I remember seeing this website like 3 years ago or more but never ordered from them because I don't like using ebay unless I can't find a TF and have been looking for it like crazy.

uh, none of the auctions/items you see on that page belong to decepticon-matrix. Those are all just TF auctions belonging to other sellers ending soonest on eBay. He set up an eBay service that pays him for each auction visited from clicks on his website. TFW2005 does the same thing on the side and below news articles, resource pages, etc.

Why does the name sidecutter come to my mind? I met the owner of the site at botcon also and had nothing but good things to say and I think we even ended up walking away with a buncha free stuff.

IIRC, the guy who runs decepticon-matrix is cory. I met him at Botcon in Providence and did a fairly large deal with him (nothing too high end, but definitely some hard to find stuff). Got some cool freebies, and he even held some large items (that I purchased from another seller) at his booth until I could get a buddy to help me haul it to my truck.

I never got a chance to get back in touch with him after botcon - it was right when his site went "down" and I had seen some posts about really bad experiences with him on various sites and some ebay problems as well. I can't speak for those but in person he was great, good condition stuff and fair prices at the time of that Botcon.

Megamus - I haven't talked to you since that Botcon, but I bought some stuff from you then at your parts party. I was the kid you had a discussion with about KOs in the dealer room after you showed me some wheeljack pieces some guy was selling (not you) and said "what do you think?" and I said "they're fake, really good, but the wrong color" and you said something like good eye, etc.

Then I actually gave you a quick intro to Cory the next day and got you hooked up with the piece you needed for your Micromaster Anti-Aircraft Base (the searchlight).

Kind of a random post, I know. Sorry for any weirdness...

    - Mr. Ginrai (Mike)

that's good to hear. He was always a nice, upfront guy whenever I dealt with him.
