No idea where the guy lives exactly. We met halfway. He assured me everything was there. When I went over everything on the list I saw the 2 figures were missing. I messaged him and he said he would send them. Then he never signed back online again. I notified mods but he is a ghost now. This was last October.

Pisses me off. Luckily I scored both figures in another lot. But it really still feels crappy being ripped off like that.

Speaking of ripped off. Some asshole on ebay just sold me a Bunk ass poor Condition 2010 Predaking which was supposedly C8 box was ripped and the figure is LOOSE like Lindsay Lohan after a couple of drinks. Friggin wings do not even snap on the back. I see a chargeback a coming!

The worst rip off someone tried to pull on me was when I saw a Car Robots Prowl for 120 dollars.

Does anyone else remember this one? In August of 1986 if you sent your Transformers the movie ticket stub to an address I forget... With a certain dollar amount, Hasbro would send you a TFTM poster! Turns out it was that poorly drawn one instead.... see pic. Flickr: Photos & Video from jtisme I wish I would have just kept my TFTM ticket !:mad  BS Mail Away Scam!

How'd you figure it was a KO? I was scouting the same auction and wasnt convinced it was real, but that's just my response to every henkei seeker I think.

Yeah I have twice. When I first started collecting, I bought a 2007 Commemorative Edition Soundwave from a local comic book store for $50 because I thought it was a 1984 release. And then I got scammed by a member of these forums when we did a "trade." I sent him a complete G1 Starscream and I got nothing. Still sour about that experience. I wanted that damn Classics Megatron from that trade...

Did you mention this on the boards before? It might've been somebody else, but I remember this story for some reason.

Please explain the difference between the two? I would have assumed that these were one and the same...

I just remember I was ripped off by Seibertron.com too, back when they still had an online store. I'd bought a whole slew of Dreamwave comics that never arrived.
One day, out of the blue, they closed up shop and stopped replying to emails. Lost out on $40.

    Fuck Seibertron.com!

Nothing major, just items not as described. Asked if anything was broken once, and the seller said no, when some tabs were broken when it arrived. When I asked, he said that he thought that was the way it was suppost to be, sorry. Was a minimal amount, so I just chalked it up to lesson learned.

I have almost struck deals before checking feedback (always do that now). I would get in a rush and send out an I'll take it PM then check the feedback and it is not so good. Hate backing out when I could have easily avoided it, but I would rather do that then face a possible hastle. Just need to remind myself, always check the feedback before PMing. Gotta say, great sellers/traders on this board.

I have been sold damaged goods that were sold as new condition - so that is never fun.

Are you sure it was Seibertron.com and not another board ?

Bought a G1 Hun-grrr from TFcon, which also had the Abominus pieces. All the pieces were fake, and both foot plates broke inside of a day. Think I did $10 for the figure, and another $5 or 10 for the parts.

Yes I have and it was a G1 metroplex that got into a bid war without me knowing it of 400$ Metroplex I own and plus 1 of the arms is REALLY loose and wont stay together. I had auto bid set 1 time for that figure and left and someone tested the waters on me behind my belt to see how high it was set and I got screwed on the figure.

Which European country did you get that from? Scouts are still 9.99 euros here.

Never actually bought it, but I would have felt grandly ripped off buying that 15 euros RID Wedge, 8 years after release at a local store! Get a clue people, he ain't selling at that price!

Beachcomber, Hubcap, and yellow Cliffjumper in package turned out to be the KOs.
