He's made his last jump....
He was the man! I even had an Evel Knievel comforter set when I was a kid.
Natural causes!?!...how anti-climatic...
Sad sad day.
The Snake River Canyon *was* a natural formation, after all.
Considering how poor his health had been for many years, I am not too shocked by this news.
Sad news, the death of an icon is. I can't say I didn't see it coming, I knew he wasn't in top shape.
good thing i looked before posting
it is a sad day i heard it on my local news
Wish I were around at the peak of his day. He was one crazy dude.
I would say I feel sad, bad that crazy moFo was blessed to make it to almost 70. That guy beat the shat outa his body and cheated death constantly. He lived long, proud, and always crazy.
If I were him and I knew my time was coming?
Jump the Grand Canyon.
I'm sure he would've wanted to go out with his ass on fire riding a motorcycle instead lying in bed.
He wanted to jump the Grand Canyon back in the 70's, however the Government wouldn't allow it. Instead he bought part of the Snake River Canyon and jumped that instead.
Even better. If I were him I'd jump the Grand Canyon as a final F.U. for not letting him jump it back then.
Dude's got a point.
No great this made my day even more crappier he was like a hero when I was little
