Meh already picked up that Vader on clearance, and the only version of that starfighter mold I'm considering picking up is Mace Windu...onacounta its Sam Jackson as a Transformer.

The only ones of these star wars transformers I have is the vader and luke from the first wave. Since once you have those its enough for a showdown.
But look at these two. I know vader and obiwan dueled in the episode 4:a new hope. But to believe that they would duel again as some paraellel mecha universe thing that would have to occur in the same time frame as episode 4 is ridiculous.

In truth this is a reprint set if you missed out on either of these figures I know vader is good (other than his sometimes weak upper leg joint) but I can't vouge for obi wan.

That should be coming out in the U.S. too. It was on display in package at SDCC.

Such a great concept. Like peanut butter & chocolate.
But the execution of SW TF is just sad.

Hasn't this pack already been released? Target put them out at the Transformers movie toy displays in June-July down here.

Too true, I bought a few, and all of them had problems enough to return them. will not make same mistake if these make it here.

Can anyone confirm for sure if this pack will be available in the US and if so, what the price might be? I was thinking about getting Darth Vader TF from HTS online, but I'd wait for this pack if I knew it'd be a good price (say $20 total).

If it's a US store exclusive, which store?

Somehow, I'm a completist for the line. I like the new decos, and will be picking them up when they're available. Dunno why I like 'em so much, though. Think they'll redeco the Millenium Falcon set with Lando and Nien Nunb?

Armorhide wasn't released in Galaxy Force (was he a USA Edition?) but what I think the original poster meant is, that without Takara engineering/sculpting the figures (which they do most of the time) the figure ends up being subpar. While most mainline figures are engineered/sculpted by Takara, the Star Wars Transformers are not (as is the same for Titaniums and Energon Grimlock & Swoop).

It is coming out in the U.S., as a Wal-Mart exclusive. I can't remember if it's $25 or $30, though, and my search-fu is weak right now. (I know it's not as low as $20, though.)

It's a good idea, but they'd need to remold several panels (in addition to the heads, of course), or one of them is going to end up with "furry" details.

+50 IntarWebs bonus points (redeemable for tube cleaning) for spelling Nien Nunb correctly, BTW.

Yup. Plus, I liked Armorhide, he was like an upsidedown Optimus Prime. :D

I think I only get +10 points, because of knowing how to Google 'Lando Falcon co-pilot'

I went ahead and ordered the original Vader and Obi-Wan from HTS, half off with free shipping code :)

But these are still really cool and I might reconsider if/when I see them in person.

I'd buy it. Then again, I love the Falcon mold.
