    hiya!

    met a guy who had this and took a photo of the box. i noticed a lack of online pics for the boxart, so i thought'd i'd share.

    p.s. evident from the price tag that was still attached, i cant believe this thing cost less than 40 bucks a pop back in the day?!

    That's awesome. The European release of Gripper was one of the first TF's I ever got.

    G1 diaclone molds costed about 15 dollars in the eighties, the reissues are up to 3 times higher (inlfation and others are the cause)

    I think that price is accurate (I'ld say about 2000 BEF back then, which translates to €50 now, no need to make a US conversion, rates also changed a lot since then)

    correction, another factor was TRU markup prices, since Hot Rod was roughly $17.99 upon release
