Anybody have any of the transforming bots from this series? Are they any good? How is the quality and articulation? It looks like they all have the same transformation...

I've seached ebay, all I can find are ones from overseas with insane shipping. Any good U.S. based shops have them?

I picked up the Nirvash at Anime Boston this year. I have to say, as a toy it kind of sucks. It feels somewhat sturdy as far as the plastic goes, but there are a lot of little parts that constantly fall off the thing when you move it. Certainly would not hold up to constant transformation very well. However, as a display piece it is pretty cool. It comes with a variety of neat accessories, including two boards (one foldable and one solid), and a stand to display it while flying around.

In short, if you're a fan of the show or the designs and want something cool to display, go ahead and pick one up. However, if you want a figure to fiddle around with, repose often, and transform a lot then I'd say pass.

I am a big fan of this show and thus I have a couple, the Nirvarsh and Hollands 909.

Both are very solid & poseable action figures but the transforming should be considered a gimmick to be undertaken every now and then.

A lot of them is pvc too, strangely the huge backpacks are pvc and this makes them impossible to stand up on their own but they're meant to be posed surfing anyway.

Looks like BBTS still has one of the trans-type in stock. The yellow one. I know nothing about the show, but I've been curious about the mechs ever since I saw one.
