Escalation Mode (Just a guess)

    So after seeing Demolishor's and Shockwave's trailers, and we know this is them in Escalation mode, because they're only available in that mode. And after watching them, it looks as though they're taking down multiple clones of enemy's, so in my guess... With no other playable characters acctrualy shown as enemies in the mode...

    This is the Transformers' version of Halo ODST's Firefight.

    I too was curious about escalation mode... What is ODST firefight mode anyway,

    I actually just read about firefight, -not sure if I like the idea...

    It seems that way, it can also be compared to Gears of War 2 horde mode or Uncharted 2 survival mode.

    I'm not going to say I don't like it yet, but it does sound interesting.

    Waves upon waves of AI pour in with either increasing (more likely with a title like Escalation) or randomized enemies and they try to kill you and you rack up however many points you can until you take the final fall.

    I hope this is what Escalation is, but either way, Halo Reach is fighting for my purchase (I won't have enough time to save up fo Reach if I buy WFC on my crappy allowance)

    I've been hoping WFC has something like Horde/Firefight. I'd really be disappointed if it doesn't, to be honest.

    Well all signs seem to point that Escalation mode is a Horde/Firefight style game mode. So I am sure you will not be disappointed.

    Looking at the two trailers again, the environment does seem like it would make a good Horde/Firefight game mode setting... :D

    I'm actually over a side of the fence now. I want it to be an endurance mode. I think it will be fun, they should even make it co-op so you and your friends can put the hurt on some drones!!!

    I hope it is multiplayer for 4 players and friends can join in. The most fun in ODST was playing firefight with two of my buddies and making fun of each other for dying.

    We always got a laugh when someone would randomly run towards the biggest baddest enemy gun blazing

    Endurance modes without friends get really boring after a while. And, in some cases, hard as hell. I don't see why it wouldn't have a co-op feature, especially when they're emphasizing it so much in the campaign.

    One thing is for sure whatever Escalation mode is it is definitely a muliplaeyer component.

    oh man i hope it's like horde mode/firefight... i LOVED horde mode in gow2 and am proud to say i completed all 50 waves once ....after many many many attempts.

    wish they'd reveal exactly what this mode is!!!

    i really hope its a Horde mode. I was just imagining how freakin sweet itd be if it was

    This mode sounds like survival mode after reading the details about it in the achievements.

    If you can only use the exclusive guys in it, then it has to be multiplayer so you can show off the character that you have, and they don't. That's just how it works.
