I love SD robots. They are a mix of badass and cute. And this has it all.

LOTS of diecast. The lower legs, chest and front bumper are all diecast.

However for the purists at heart, turn away. There is no place to store that massive head. I suppose to make up for that, there is an LED inside the head that is activated via a push switch in the back of the head. It doesnt come with LR41 batteries and I haven't bought any to try out the LED eyes.

The coloring is based off the Anime Dorvack Mugen Calibur so it doesnt have the green accents like Roadbuster. Im not sure if I want to bother painting it. I like it the way it is.

Car mode is about as wide as it is long haha.

I found the gun a very interesting accessory. I havent watched Dorvack so I have no idea if this is accurate or not. But the mounted gun upper reciever comes off and attaches to the lower receiver that is attached to the side of the car to make the rifle for Roadbuster.

I vaguely remember my G1 Roadbuster transformation but this seems very similar.

Nice! So it comes with that little SD driver too? Can you take pix of all the accessories it comes with? I think I might buy another one just to open! =)

It is indeed a fantastic little toy. Word of caution though: those spring-loaded sliders for the arms put a lot of stress on the joints. Someone at Robot Japan had an arm break off during transformation. They also had a hip joint break off. That shouldn't scare anyone away from getting one though, it could just be an isolated incident with a particularly weak sample.

I keep meaning to take a nice clear macro shot of the pilot next to a dime so people can see just how ridiculously tiny it is (you could inhale it and probably not notice) and how clean and crisp all of his paint apps are. Very impressive.

Do you think they'll do a blue-ish version like they did for the Brave Gokin version?

No idea. Yes the driver is TEENY!!!! The spring tension on the shoulder joint does seem excessive. I think the best plan is to not pull on the arm or shoulder to pull the arm out or down in transformation. But to push down the actual part directly above the spring.

@Pat: there is a display stand and a missile that I didnt take pics of. The missile is just like the ones stuck on the right side of the leg. It plugs into the front of the gun barrel.

Does anyone know if this company will do a non-deformed transforming version of this toy? It would rock so hard if they did.

Not any time soon. CMs made one a few years ago that can still be found for a decent price on Ebay.
