I believe the head needs to be removed for transformation.

There are PLENTY of gokin out there that transforms. Gokin just means its a robot that's made of partly diecast.

This isn't a 3rd party product. Instead its an officially licensed product for the dorvack series in Japan. Anyways, neat little figure and hell it has more articulation than the uber expensive one CM's released three years ago.

Btw, just to make it clear, this toy is licensed under Mugen Calibur ( from the show Special Armored Battalion Dorvack ). Years ago Hasbro bought the mold of the original mugen Calibur toy and released it in north America as road buster. my point is, this is not a third party toy nor does artstorm fewture has anything to do with transformers. Fewture made a Calibur toy and thins is a Calibur toy. Fans may repurpose it however they like.

I'm not saying that this thread goes better under the toy forum or here, just clarifying that fewture is not a third party company.

Cute, but SD anime stuff isn't my thing either. Someone really needs to make an updated Ultra or larger sized figure of Classics Roadbuster. The existing Hasbro Deluxe is too small and leaves something to be desired.

Got mine last week. Love it. That said, this needs to be removed from the 3rd Party toy section. :)

I think CM's did a ~ voyager sized mugen calibur under their Brave Gokin line that transforms, and them Fewture did a non-transformable (and non-SD) version of it under them EM gokin line (not sure the size of this one).

    CM's:
    BRAVE-GOUKIN21X MUGEN CALIBUR

    FewtureEM:
EM Gokin Mugen Calibur | CollectionDX

Yes, CM's Calibur toy is basically voyager sized. It's the same exact height in bot mode as G1 Roadbuster, and same length in alt mode.

Sweet. Is there a review (video or otherwise) available on the Calibur version?

This isn't really 3rd party stuff.. it's an official product, just not a Hasbro or Takara product.
