Not only. Most of the phrases were unusually poor and soulless.
"i..am optimus prime....& i will kill you!" is basically all he says..its actually quite hilarious
agreed but i kinda like that...not all have to be in your face & all 'showy' sometimes its awesome to have these little, obscure ones
"I will lead the way into her chamber"
Sorry for late reply, but 9:04.
I only heard him say his name 3 times, though I need to check the movie again.
When I try to help my friend get a girlfriend.
I don't think it's the number of time he says it but rather if the make sense in context or not
How do they not make sense?
He introduces himself to the the Guardian Knights.
He lets the Infernicons know just how much screwed by reminding them exactly who they are fucking with.
His traditional ending monologue always includes his name.
It still feels overdone. The Infernocon scene for example could have just left that out. I feel like it would have been a lot more menacing if he had just left it at "Have you forgotten who I am?" and then chopped them all up. Like "you know who I am, I don't even have to say my name."
Have you disagree with you there, I love that scene. Optimus should get a Big Damn Hero moment in every movie.
No, I meant keep the whole scene but just cut that one line.
Even the whole, “did you forget who I am?” line felt weird for a character like Optimus to say. He’s never been known to gloat or flaunt his title around. That line would’ve been more appropriate for someone like Megatron, or Hot Rod imo.
hah, what's humorous is that was basically hound 'farting' and drift 'wafting' it away
Watching this featurette on how they designed Cybertron is strange.
I know I touched on this a while back. But it's just strange to hear that they added soil because they needed the human soldiers to land on something while the green stuff was just there to make the place look cool.
They really needed to emphasis the story point of view of why Cybertron looks weird. When Optimus first landed on Cybertron, he should be inspecting his Cybertron's different landscape so it can be made more clear that he is talking about his world's change in environment rather than us assuming he meant the war.
Furthermore, the organic change should of been explained that it is part of Quintessa's plan to take hold of Cybertron herself so that the 'Creators' are the ones in charge rather than the Transformers themselves.
I hope one day we get to learn the full story of the movie's production. Like why things established in AOE were erased and drastically retconned?
He's not flaunting is title. Notice he never said "I am a Prime". He said I am "Optimus Prime", and that is who he is.
You know... the presence of Junkheap ksi bots could actually be justified and not just as laziness of the animators. Maybe they were survivors of the Hong Kong battle
It sounded better in my head then when i wrote it down
not our fight:
crosshairs, drift, & sqweeks do not make the push into the chamber
same for barricade on the decepticon side
them, plus nitro zeus, could just mean that the ksi bots were designed based on existing decepticon designs, like how galvatron was supposed to look like OP
sqweeks i get, he was there then just vanished and showed up fine like he wa swith the bots. barri would have had a tough time getting up there, drift was explained as piloting the ship and crosshairs, he just disappeared completely, there was no sign of him between Stonehenge and the final goodbye shot
