agree, i saw that dragonstorm had the autobot insignia on his toy iirc so i just assumed he's aligned with them...same for cogman & daytrader..i dont think we ever get official confirmation if they are even autobots

 

I feel like Cogman is definitely an Autobot and Daytrader is technically an Autobot that just doesn't really follow the cause. Dragonstorm is probably in the same basket as Lockdown in Aoe. They had to put some insignia on his toy's box so they stuck a Decepticon symbol since he's a bad guy.

The weird contradiction is that Steelbane gets an Autobot figure while Skullitron gets a Decepticon figure, even though they are both knights in the movie.

 

Bee:
1) Almost transforms as TRF shoot him apart.
2) Reassemles himself.
3) Transforms with Crosshairs and Drift in the junkyard.
4) Again with the two in the tumbleweed town.
5) In front of Churchill/Nazi encampment.
6) In front of castle Folgan.
7) Half transforms in the chase with Barricade.

 

oh wow that is very interesting re: steelbane & skullitron..i figured skullitron was a 'good guy' even if he was fighting other 'good guys' he was doing so to protect the 'good guy macguffin'

tlk is the first time since film 1 that villains have both the first & final transformation in a film:

tf1: blackout & starscream
tf2: ironhide & jetprime
tf3: dino & bumblebee
tf4: lockdown & grimlock (ratchet & grimlock if you're counting strictly full-transformations)*
tf5: barricade & infernocus

when the decepticons arrive in the abandoned tumbleweed town, while the actual transformation is not shown, megatron can be see landing from a transformation...neat little detail i thought

In AOE, do you count Lockdown's face cannon transformation, when he pokes his head out of the water? There is a lightning fast transformation of Ratchet, as he's on the run also. Then there is Lockdown, mostly off screen. The first full on, detailed one is Lockdown though in front of the silos.

 

TLK also established that barricade has infact 2 vocal processors and that welker's line in DOTM was not a mistake   (jk)

his upper eyes being blue siren lights might also be a reference to when his eyes got shot out in DOTM and they are replacements.

 

i too go back & fourth on whether or not to include partial transformations...if you're not including partial transformations, then yes, ratchet is indeed first

 

Right before grimlock tail slaps barricade , Barricade points his gun at grimlock and yells "freeze!!"

 

just realized something from rotf....so with megatron dead & starscream & the fallen aboard the nemesis, it appears as if soundwave is in command of the earth-based decepticons until megatron's revival

 

Yeah I could that as him being another subversion of Bumblebee. Bumblebee has (had) no voice. While Barricade has 2 voices.

Anyone else notice Cade calling the baby Swoop dinobot "Terry?"

....a reference to the Pee-Wee's Playhouse character named Terry; who was the same kind of dinosaur:

 

He called him that because of pterodactyl.

 

Well, to be fair, that's why the Pee Wee one was called that too.

 

Yes of course. Its just that he called it a reference to that show when in fact both the show and Tlk were references to the dinosaur itself.

 

Could've been a reference to the show, who knows.
