I could have sworn that the headlights on the Mercedes during the break-up scene were adjusting randomly, not in a reflected light kind of way, but more of a "I'm actually Soundwave, bitches!" kind of way.

The Apollo command module in the opening sequence was missing the eagle lander while it was on its way to the moon.

Entirely possible, though the similarities are such that I figured there was some thought behind it moreso than coincidence.

In the case of Carly's intro, it could be coincidence, as the entire pacing and "layout" of the progression of the two films is extremely similar, and this would be just one more way.

For Ironhide, I'm inclined to believe there was some intentional influence taken from the 86 movie, as ironhide is in this case the first autobot casaulty (as opposed to among the first) in a surprise attack where he is wounded through the chest, falls, attempts to valiantly rise again, and is killed by the Decepticon leader.

 

During the beginning of the movie, Wheelie is watching the episode of star trek where Spock looses his mind. Obviously a refrence to Lenard Nemoy (Sentinel Prime).

I noticed that too! I think that may have been when i realized who it was, or i realized it, then that scene happened. I cant remember, but I DO remember feeling like a dunce for not realizing it sooner lol.

When the Autobots "left", Dutch had on a neck brace, while everyone was fighting, he didn't have it.

Some things that seem like errors in the film are actually intentional, he was only wearing it for sympathy for his boss, and obviously took it off to hack............duh.

 

Don't forget the "schwing" of the face plate! That looked awesome!
