One answer is neither. They are generic decepticons not drones! They are no more part of a sub faction than Megs or Screams.
Unless Vehicon/Eradicon is the literal translation for the cybertronian word for soldier in Prime.

Also that means that the six Vehicons/Eradicons Screamer sent to kill the bots in Convoy might have been Starsceams best warriors.

 

I think it'll all come down to what the packaging for the eventual toy will say.

 

I vastly prefer Eradicons.. whoever decided to coin them Vechicons needs to be punted in the skull.

I call them Eradicons. Apparently they are Vehicons in canon, but I want these guys to have a unique name!

 

I think Eradicons sounds cooler, and much more original too, so that's what I'm calling them.

 

Why? Yeah Eradicons is a more badass name, but Vehicons are fucking awesome and need more respect.

 

Eradicons seems too forced badass for the faceless grunts of the Decepticon army.

Its been ten years since I've had a faction I cared about on tv. These drones will be Vehicons to me, regardless of offical status.

i'll say Eradicons, since the Vehicons didn't appear to have individual personalities. The Eradicons are basically the blue Cobra guys of Transformers

 

Well, the Vehicon generals had personalities, and on occasion the drones showed emotion. (mostly fear)

 

I like Eradicons, but mostly because I dislike Beast Machines so much.

 

They are not drones. They are generic Decepticons. They are like the people you pass on the street.

I don't mind what they're called, they look like the best army building drones ever.

 

Not drones, generics... oh never mind. I give up! the fact that they are not drones is a major part of my thread.
